AI is everywhere right now. It’s in your inbox, your news feed, and maybe even your boardroom conversations. But if you’ve ever found yourself nodding along in a meeting while quietly wondering, “What does this actually mean for us?”—you’re not alone.
That’s exactly why we created Demystifying AI, a 90-minute, hands-on workshop designed for local leaders in Richland and Crawford counties, presented in partnership with the Mansfield-Richland Area Educational Foundation.
Whether you’re leading a nonprofit, running a small business, or simply trying to keep up with change, this session is built to help you cut through the noise, get grounded in what matters, and find your next right step.
What You Can Expect
This isn’t a lecture or a product pitch. It’s a working session—where we’ll explore how AI can:
- Build capacity on your team so you can focus on the work that matters most
- Streamline systems and simplify time-consuming tasks
- Amplify your communications and keep your people better informed
- Support your mission through better service, smarter tools, and clearer workflows
We’ll walk through real-world examples, practical tools, and common questions—from the basics of what AI is, to how to talk about it with your team, board, or customers. You’ll leave with clarity, ideas, and a few resources to help you start (or keep going) with confidence.
Who It’s For
This workshop is ideal for local leaders who want to make thoughtful, ethical, and effective use of AI—without feeling overwhelmed or out of your depth. No tech background needed. Just bring your curiosity, your context, and your willingness to explore.
Let’s make AI make sense—for your work, your goals, and your people.
Hosted by: Mansfield-Richland Area Educational Foundation
