01 The Setting

Just a few years ago, Peter Balunek was just an average insurance salesman from northern Ohio. But, after a life-changing trip to Africa, where he saw first-hand the vast loss of wildlife that continues to ravage our planet, he decided to do his part in solving the problem.

Thus was born Peter's Wildlife Safaris, a socially-conscious photo safari tour company with a mission to help the globe's wildlife through bringing midwesterners into contact with the local populations and improving the lives of everyone involved.

But, after a life-changing trip to Africa, he decided to do his part in solving the problem.

02 The Challenge

Peter wanted to increase brand awareness among his target clientele, so we partnered with him to do just that. But we figured out pretty quickly that simply polishing up his current website or filming a video in his living room wouldn't be enough to accomplish his goals. So, together, we came up with a plan. A very wild plan.

03 Strategy & solution

After going through a discovery process and brand consultation, we packed up, hopped on a plane, and went to the Masai Mara in southwestern Kenya with Peter. Over the course of a week, we shot video and photographs that would eventually become two brand videos and a short documentary. Along with telling these stories, we also created a website targeted at engaging his prospects at every step in their buyer's journey.

04 The Outcome

As of today, the short documentary is currently on the national festival circuit, winning prestigious prizes and inspiring Peter’s target audience to join him in experiencing firsthand the wildlife, culture, and people in the most threatened corners of the globe. The website also gives Peter a central hub for his audience to book safaris and support his foundation.
